The Elling Eide Center is located on a 72-acre historic preserve overlooking Little Sarasota Bay. One of the largest undeveloped bayside parcels in Sarasota County, the preserve contains native landscapes along with a living collection of exotic plants. Visitors will see birds and other wildlife and also exotic plants and trees including a large variety of fruit trees and exotic plants from Asia, Africa, Australia, South America, Central America, and North America. The expansive and diverse range of plant life ensures that vistas change with the seasons and something is always in bloom.
